Deep retrofit of the northern section of the 1980s SOM building at 175 Bishopsgate, on the Broadgate campus next to Liverpool Street Station

Our appointment: facade packages - structural analysis, thermal analysis and shop drawings (main design) for the unitised systems EWS 201, 202, 203 and 204, the rainscreen façade EWS 407 and the balustrade BAL-001.

Technical highlights: new envelope hung from a retained 1980s frame, with restraint and tolerance strategy driven by the existing structure.
